Desestatização da Sabesp leva R$ 17,1 bilhões à região do Paranapanema até 2060
As 112 cidades do Alto e Baixo Paranapanema vão receber investimentos de R$ 17,1 bilhões até 2060 em saneamento básico. O processo de desestatização da Sabesp – em consulta pública desde o último dia 15 – prevê que, desse montante, R$ 3,4 bilhões serão destinados até 2029 para a universalização na região, além de iniciativas para modernização das redes de tratamento de esgoto e abastecimento de água potável.
Até 2060, estão previstos os seguintes investimentos na região:
-R$ 1,3 bilhão na expansão da rede de tratamento e distribuição de água;
-R$ 6,9 bilhões na modernização da rede de distribuição de água;
-R$ 1,8 bilhão na expansão da rede de coleta e tratamento de esgoto;
-R$ 4,6 bilhões na melhoria da rede de coleta e tratamento de esgoto;
-R$ 2,5 bilhões em inovação, eficiência energética e outros serviços.
Esses recursos levam em consideração a relevância do rio Paranapanema, essencial para o abastecimento das cerca de 1,9 milhão de pessoas atendidos pela Sabesp nos municípios. Além disso, o rio compartilha infraestrutura com o estado do Paraná, já que está localizado na divisa dos estados, e também gera energia, abrigando 11 usinas hidrelétricas que abastecem o Sistema Interligado Nacional.
Dessa maneira, a desestatização busca elevar a segurança hídrica dos municípios. Por exemplo, em Angatuba, onde a eficiência de produção de água é considerada baixa, será construído um novo sistema produtor para substituir o atual e elevar a capacidade de produção de 58 litros de água por segundo para 75 litros por segundo.
Além disso, em Angatuba e Buri, serão implantadas novas Estações de Tratamento de Água (ETAs) e Estações de Tratamento de Esgoto (ETEs), bem como estações elevatórias e adutoras, visando garantir um abastecimento mais eficiente e seguro.
Em Presidente Prudente, por sua vez, está prevista a expansão do sistema de reserva de água nos distritos de Montalvão, Eneida e Floresta do Sul, além da ampliação dos Sistemas de Abastecimento de Água nos distritos de Ameliópolis, Eneida e Floresta do Sul e no bairro Terras de Imoplan.
Novas estruturas de captação também serão criadas nos rios Verde e Itararé, onde a capacidade de produção aquífera vai dobrar. Em Assis, serão instalados dois novos poços profundos com até 300 metros abaixo da terra, impactando também na urbanização local.
Saneamento para o campo
No território do Alto e Baixo Paranapanema, cerca de 37,7% dos domicílios rurais não têm acesso adequado à água. Em relação ao esgoto, a região apresenta o segundo maior déficit em áreas rurais dos municípios atendidos pela Sabesp, com 61,5% das moradias sem o descarte adequado.
Com o objetivo de atingir os índices de cobertura universal de água (99%) e esgoto (90%) nessas regiões rurais, saindo dos atuais 61% e 35%, respectivamente, foi criado, no âmbito da desestatização da Sabesp, o Programa de Saneamento Rural. A ideia é a prestação do serviço em áreas afastadas, por meio de soluções como filtros de poços artesianos, cloração, fossas sépticas e biodigestores.
