Procon/MS inicia projeto para atendimento aos Povos Originários – Agência de Noticias do Governo de Mato Grosso do Sul
O primeiro atendimento do Procon/MS em território indígena foi realizado na última semana, na região de Bodoquena. A equipe de servidores cruzou a serra para ouvir o povo Kadiwéu, dentro do território deles.
Foi durante o I Festival da Cultura Kadiwéu, na Aldeia Campina, que a instituição vinculada à Sead (Secretaria de Assistência Social e dos Direitos Humanos) deu início a primeira etapa do projeto “Procon vai as Comunidades Quilombolas e aos Territórios Indígenas”. A ação é fruto de articulação e parceria com a Subsecretaria de Políticas Públicas para Povos Originários.
“Estamos indo até as comunidades com nossos serviços de atendimento e orientação para conscientizar que os povos originários e quilombolas encontram no Procon/MS a voz para terem assegurados os seus direitos enquanto consumidores. Já demos o primeiro passo e vamos estar ainda mais próximos”, diz o secretário-executivo do órgão, Angelo Motti.
Solange da Silva Vito, conhecida como Sol Guarani, atua como agente de ações sociais e atendente da instituição. Filha de Marta Guarani, líder da etnia e articuladora das causas indigenistas e feminista, ela comenta ser emocionante integrar o projeto de ir às comunidades
“Foi maravilhoso poder atender e ouvi-los. Fico emocionada de, por meio do meu trabalho no Procon/MS, chegar ao nosso povo originário e em seu território. É difícil para o meu povo sair e reivindicar seus direitos [como consumidores]”, relata Sol.
A equipe de servidores contou com a tradução das orientações realizada por Benilda Vergílio, Bení Kadiweu Examelexe, que integra a Subsecretaria parceira na ação. O cacique Pedro Nunes convidou durante o festival o secretário-executivo do Procon/MS e a técnica e mestranda em Estudos Culturais, Ana José Alves, como jurados do Concurso de “Miss Guardiã da Cultura”.
