A operação teve como objetivo diminuir os indicadores criminais e ampliar o policiamento na região de Paraisópolis, zona sul da capital



Os militares também apreenderam 74 veículos e 29 motocicletas

A Polícia Militar realizou uma operação na comunidade de Paraisópolis, na zona sul de São Paulo, entre sexta-feira (19) e domingo (21), com o intuito de combater a criminalidade na região. A ação terminou com quatro presos, sendo que, entre eles, dois eram procurados da Justiça e estavam com motos com queixa de roubo.

Um adolescente carregando mais de mil porções de drogas, entre cocaína, crack, maconha e lança-perfume, foi apreendido por tráfico. Os militares também apreenderam 74 veículos e 29 motocicletas irregulares.

No total, 966 pessoas foram abordadas e 370 automóveis fiscalizados durante a ação da PM no fim de semana. Só na sexta-feira (19), 16 motoristas foram autuados por se negarem a realizar o teste do bafômetro.

Segundo o major Dalton Matias, que atuou na operação, Paraisópolis é uma região de difícil acesso, com ruas estreitas e muitas vielas, o que torna a comunidade uma região propícia para o tráfico e, servindo de esconderijo para criminosos. “É importante um policiamento ostensivo naquela região para manter a ordem pública e diminuir os indicadores criminais, além de trazer uma maior sensação de segurança para a população”, ressaltou o major.

No fim de semana anterior, os agentes também marcaram presença na comunidade, o que gerou resultados positivos contra a criminalidade, além de impedir a realização de aglomerações, que dão início a bailes funks e perturbam moradores da comunidade.
