Uma das celebrações mais tradicionais de São José dos Campos vem aí! A 22ª edição da Festa do Mineiro acontece nos dias 18 e 19 de maio, no Galpão Gaivota, no Parque da Cidade.

Serão dois dias de shows musicais, barracas de artesanatos, brincadeiras para a criançada e muita comida típica. Confira a programação abaixo.

As duplas Belmonte e Amaraí (no sábado) e Matheus Minas e Leandro (no domingo) agitam as noites no Parque da Cidade.

O evento, que atrai milhares de pessoas no fim de semana, valoriza e preserva a cultura de Minas Gerais, trazida pelos migrantes mineiros que se estabeleceram em Santana, na região norte da cidade.

A abertura oficial, no próximo dia 18, acontece às 9h. Em seguida, haverá a celebração da missa, às 10h.

O evento tem entrada gratuita. A novidade deste ano fica por conta das comemorações do Dia do Sertanejo, celebrado em 3 de maio, e que pela primeira vez serão realizadas junto com a Festa do Mineiro.

O Modão Sertanejo vai animar o palco principal a partir das 10h.

A 22ª Festa do Mineiro é realizada pela Prefeitura de São José dos Campos e pela Fundação Cultural Cassiano Ricardo.

Tradição

Desde 2010, a Fundação Cultural Cassiano Ricardo realiza, anualmente, a Festa do Mineiro, em comemoração ao Dia Municipal do Migrante Mineiro.

A festa propõe valorizar a arte e promover a cultura mineira enraizada na cidade, em especial no bairro Santana e adjacências. O evento, que começa com a abertura da porteira ao toque do berrante, atrai milhares de pessoas com suas barracas de comidas e artesanatos típicos, café com biscoito, missa sertaneja, roda de viola e música de raiz.

A Festa do Mineiro é conhecida por saudar os mineiros que vivem em São José dos Campos e valorizar sua rica cultura – um bom programa familiar.
