Agência Minas Gerais | Segurança Pública já localizou mais de cem pontos da droga K4 em dois dias de revistas em presídios da RMBH

Mais de cem pontos das drogas sintéticas k4 já foram localizados em presídios da Região Metropolitana de Belo Horizonte (RMBH) nos primeiros dois dias da Operação k9, realizada pela Secretaria de Estado de Justiça e Segurança Pública (Sejusp), por meio do Departamento Penitenciário de Minas Gerais (Depen-MG).

O levantamento parcial foi feito nesta quarta-feira (8/5), quando os policiais penais deflagraram mais uma etapa da operação, desta vez no Presídio Antônio Dutra Ladeira, em Ribeirão das Neves. Policiais Penais do Comando de Operações Especiais e do Grupamento de Intervenção Rápida, além de policiais penais da própria unidade, estão envolvidos na retirada de todos os presos das celas para inspeção minuciosa em toda a unidade prisional.

O secretário de Estado de Justiça e Segurança Pública, Rogério Greco, participou do início da operação neste segundo dia e garantiu que a Polícia Penal não medirá esforços para evitar que todo e qualquer item ilícito entre ou permaneça no interior das unidades prisionais. “Estamos trabalhando em várias frentes. A tropa é preparada e a Operação k9 é apenas mais uma das nossas ações para impedir que drogas, entre outros ilícitos, sejam utilizados dentro do sistema prisional”, reforçou o chefe da pasta, ao lado do diretor-geral do Depen-MG, Leonardo Badaró.

Drogas K

Assim como a ação realizada nessa terça-feira (7/5), também em Ribeirão das Neves, no Presídio Inspetor José Martinho Drumond, o objetivo primordial de mais uma etapa de operação pente-fino – cujo nome é em alusão às drogas K e ao uso de cães neste trabalho – é buscar drogas no interior da unidade, especialmente as drogas sintéticas da família K. Ao todo, 250 policiais penais estão envolvidos.

Além dos mais de cem pontos de k4 localizados por policiais penais nestes dois dias, o Depen-MG aponta que mais de 21 mil pontos de drogas K já foram apreendidos de janeiro do ano passado até março deste ano. Somente em 2024 – dados até março – foram 9.247 pontos da droga apreendidos pelos policiais penais em todo o estado. 

A operação destes últimos dois dias é mais uma ação do sistema prisional para enfrentar a circulação deste tipo de droga nas unidades prisionais do estado. O Depen-MG registrou recentemente óbitos que estão sob investigação e que geraram suspeitas de uso excessivo da droga.
