Emprega JUV certifica mais 300 jovens de favelas cariocas – Prefeitura da Cidade do Rio de Janeiro
Trezentos jovens das comunidades Barreira do Vasco, Cidade Alta, Morro dos Prazeres, Penha e Kelson, no Rio de Janeiro, participaram nesta quinta-feira (14/03) da formatura do programa Emprega JUV, da Secretaria Especial da Juventude Carioca (JUVRio). Os certificados foram entregues no auditório do Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica Celso Suckow da Fonseca (Cefet/RJ). O Emprega JUV capacita e dá acesso a vagas em diversas áreas para jovens que desejam inserção no mundo do trabalho, como edição de vídeos, drone, design e produção de eventos.
A entrega da certificação foi feita pelo secretário da Juventude Carioca, Salvino Oliveira, que lembrou da importância de se preparar para as oportunidades do futuro:
– O Emprega JUV, ao longo desses últimos três anos, formou mais de 16 mil jovens que começam a transformar as próprias vidas. Muitos deles estão pisando em um auditório e pegando um diploma pela primeira vez. Política pública é para todos, e o nosso trabalho social é voltado para os jovens de favela e periferia. O meu desejo é que os eles possam sonhar gigante.
Aos 15 anos, Ingrid Rafaele, da Cidade Alta, recebeu seu primeiro certificado por meio do programa Emprega JUV. Um dos atrativos para realizar o curso foi o auxílio financeiro que ajudou a jovem complementar a renda familiar:
– Onde eu moro não tem muitas oportunidades para fazer cursos de graça. E agora eu saio com mais conhecimento e entendendo no que eu quero trabalhar. Foi muito bom ter feito esse curso porque nunca havia visto nada igual. Saí outra pessoa dele.
